Godsmack Confirms New Music… With a Major Lineup Change

 Introduction

Godsmack fans just got a major update straight from Sully Erna on Trunk Nation with Eddie Trunk. Sully confirmed that new Godsmack music is officially on the way, but it won’t include two longtime members: drummer Shannon Larkin, who joined the band in 2002, and guitarist Tony Rombola, a founding member.

This next release will be Godsmack’s 9th studio album and the first new music since Lighting Up the Sky in 2023. Sully and bassist Robbie Merrill are continuing the band with a new lineup as Godsmack enters a completely new era. In this video, I break down what Sully said, why the lineup is changing, and what this means for the future of Godsmack.

Remembering Buster - A Kind Memory from a Warm Soul

  Introduction In today blog post, I will tell you about my cat Buster. I had him from around July 17th to October 4th of 2025. I tell how I found him and how special he was to me. His passing definitely left a soft part in my heart. I will miss Buster. Buster was just a small, wonderful cat in my life for a period of time.   Introduction I’ve listened to both Iron Maiden and Judas Priest for years, and while I enjoy both, I’ve always connected more with one of them. This post breaks down why.
