The Ninth Wonder of the World: Why Chyna’s Legacy Still Matters

 Introduction

Chyna was a huge part of the attitude era. She came in as Triple H bodyguard, and a huge part of DX. She also was part of Triple H rise to the WWF Title. Then her story with Eddie was awesome. Chyna would end her run in 2001 defeating Ivory, Trish, and Lita. The reason behind her exit was the Triple H love note, and Chyna wanted like 2 million dollars. Chyna didn't do much more in the business after this besides wrestle in Japan a few dates after WWF, and in TNA, in 2011. She would move to Japan around 2012 and be a teacher. She would do well at times, but the addiction would off and on be a problem. The worst came around 2015 into 2016 when she moved back and WWE didn't want to bring her back. She took that personally which led to her alcohol addiction getting worse until she passed from an accidental overdose alcohol and pills.

Closing Thoughts

Chyna left behind a big legacy for those few years in wrestling. She did go in the Hall of fame after her death in 2019. I think it was great for her. But a little disrespectful because she couldn't go in when Chyna was alive. Feel free to share your thoughts!
