WrestleMania 18 - The Real Turning Point in WWE

 Introduction

WrestleMania 18 feels like the last WrestleMania of the Attitude Era. After that show, WWE changed fast — new stars like John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista, and Brock Lesnar arrived, WWF became WWE, the NWO angle ended, Evolution formed, Shawn Michaels returned, Goldberg came in, and even Scott Steiner showed back up.

By WrestleMania 20, you could see the roster turning over again. Big names like Mick Foley, The Rock, Steve Austin, and Brock Lesnar were gone, and the company was clearly shifting into something new. That whole stretch from WrestleMania 18 to 21 feels like a true transition period. So much talent leaving, so many new stars rising, and it all ends with Cena and Batista walking out of WrestleMania 21 as the World Champions of Raw and SmackDown.

Closing Thoughts

Wrestling has many changes and this period from WrestleMania 18 to WrestleMania 21 had a lot changes. The only era that could match the changes was the last couple years. Even though the product is nowhere near what WWE was in the 2000s. Do you agree on WrestleMania 18 or feel 17 was the end of the attitude era? Feel free to comment!
