Shocking: Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods Part Ways With WWE

 Introduction

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have officially parted ways with WWE. After years of being one of the most successful tag teams in company history, The New Day is now over. Reports say this was a mutual decision, not a firing, but it still shocked fans because Kofi and Woods were considered “lifers” in WWE.

The split comes during a time when WWE and TKO have been cutting talent and reducing payroll, but every report says Kofi and Woods chose to move on. WWE hadn’t been using them much, and their heel turn in 2024 went nowhere. With the company shifting direction, both sides agreed it was time.
